Anybody have a preference on what type of font they'd like to see on the cover? I have some ideas of my own, but I've got some 4,000 fonts to dig through on my computer.

Nah, I don't have my new WACOM tablet yet. And freehand with a mouse looks terrible.
I'm just planning on sending them the file along with a list of font suggestions. They're a publishing house, they ought to have a wider selection of fonts than I've got. I was thinking either a script font that's less flourishy than the one they're using on the paperback edition or a clean, stylish serif face. R. "Pain is my power."

Wow, traffic to my angelfire site really spiked on Monday. Better get my butt in gear and find a place to lay down my new site.
Okay, looks like they're on the move to get everything done. After my computer crapped out on me yesterday and a brief phone convo due to my comp not being able to properly transfer my file to them directly this morning, I sent them a slightly compressed copy thru email and am burning the original psd file to mail them today. Didn't have much time to gather font suggestions from other fans, but I did make attach a few comments with the file and a possible way in which to integrate the text with the design. I'm sure they'll come up with something appropriate. R. "Pain is my power."

Looks like they've got the cover designed - apparently they used the same font as they used on the paperback.
I really hope this is just a mock-up. Personally, I would have gone with a subtler font and scaled it down maybe 25%. Possibly changed the color, too. But that's just me nit-picking. Hmm. Maybe I should have went ahead and put on a title and everything on beforehand after all  Shipping is now scheduled for last week Oct/ first week Nov. R. "Pain is my power."
